Costa Rica Trips and Tours

Every weekend after Spanish and surfing classes, we offer trips to Costa Rica's most popular, fun and beautiful destinations. Students will have the opportunity to ride horseback, ziplines and take a mudbath at the Rincon de Vieja Ranch, see the most active volcano in the world at Arenal, hike through the cloud forest in Monteverde, whitewater raft down the world famous Pacuare river and more! Rincon Ranch

At the Rincon Ranch, Student Globe Students will participate in horseback tours through the jungle, ride ziplines hundreds of feet through the forest canopy, take a bath in a natural hotspring, intertube down a Costa Rican river and more!

Whitewater Rafting: Pacuare River

Students will take a shuttle to San Jose where they will spend one night in a hostel. The following morning they will be picked up and bussed to the world famous Pacuare river, one of the top 10 rafting destinations on earth. Students will raft through the gorgeous rainforest on class 3 and 4 rapids and will be fed tasty meals along the way.

Arenal Volcano

Nicaragua Tours

One of our most popular weekend trips is our Nicaragua tour. Students will bus across the border to Granada, Nicaragua where they will stay in a beautiful 4 star colonial hotel. During the weekend they will take a boat tour of the islands of Lake Nicaragua, see a baseball game, look into the crater of an active volcano and swim in a freshwater crater lake.

Fishing and Snorkeling

During the week or on the weekend, Spanish and surf students can take part in a fishing and snorkeling tour along the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica. Sunset sailboat, powerboat and pirate ship style vessels are available. Drinks and meals included. If you reel in a keeper, the fisherman will clean and cook it for you right on the beach!

Manuel Antonio

Manuel Antonio boasts miles of completely undeveloped coastline and some of the most beautiful scenery in all of Costa Rica. This state park is completely protected from development and is home to thousands of species of wild life. Hike through the jungle to see monkeys, iguanas and crocodiles, or spend the day lounging on one of the secluded beaches Manuel Antonio has to offer.
