We currently offer 2 housing options for students studying Spanish at our Tamarindo, Costa Rica school. Students may opt to stay in either:
- One of our student residences
- Or with one of our homestay families
Spanish Program Housing Options
Homestay Housing
Living with a Costa Rican homestay family provides a great opportunity to supplement the immersive Spanish experience, allowing students to experience the Costa Rican culture first hand while practicing the Spanish they have learned in class. We have carefully chosen each of our wonderful homestay families to ensure your stay is accommodating and enjoyable as possible
Our homestays are located in the towns of Santa Rose and Villa Real, about 5 miles outside of Tamarindo. Convenient and inexpensive transportation is available for trips to and from class and taxis are available nearly 24 hours a day for all late night trips into town. Homestay accommodation includes the following:
- 2 meals per day (breakfast and dinner)
- Private room
- Personal key (allows students to come and go as they wish)
- Transportation to and from class
Student Residence Apartments
Our student residences consist of four spacious apartments equipped with all necessary accommodations. Each apartment has 2 bedrooms each with 3 beds, a shared living area and a shared kitchen and full bathroom. Students will share apartments with up to 5 other students. Our apartments include:
- Hi-Speed Wireless Internet Access
- Air-Conditioning
- Maid Service
- Cable Television
- Lockers
- Balcony with hammocks
- Fully Stocked Kitchen
