Student Globe offers Spanish language classes and study abroad programs at our flagship school in Tamarindo, Costa Rica.

Our qualified Spanish instructors teach classes for all levels of students from absolute beginners to those looking to solidify their fluency in the language.

We offer both private and and small group Spanish instruction, with a maximum class size of just 6 students to guarantee that your educational experience is as personal and effective as possible. Whether you are getting ready to take a college placement test, need to learn Spanish for business reasons, or simply want to study abroad in Costa Rica, our programs will meet your needs. By the end of your time here, you will have significantly improved your Spanish speaking, grammar and writing skills.

Our students come from all over the world with one thing in common: The desire to learn Spanish in the most beautiful, immersive setting on earth. Set in the heart of Tamarindo, our Spanish school is just a block from the beach, and a short walk to everything in town.

Spanish students can choose to live either with one of our hand selected homestay families or stay in one of our student apartments. Our student apartments are located on campus, adjacent to the Spanish school and are equipped with air-conditioning, wireless hi-speed Internet, cable television and a full kitchen.

We have partnered with the Costa Rica Surf Institute to offer surf lessons to all Spanish students who are interested in learning to surf while in Costa Rica. Playa Tamarindo is consistently ranked one of the top beaches to learn to surf in all of Latin America. Tamarindo boasts one of the most consistent waves and beautiful settings in the world.
